The 800 offers a very nuanced ecru red, subtle and refined. This soft shade, with its terracotta accents, is suitable for delicate lace and fine embroidery on old linen or ecru cotton. It naturally combines with warm beiges and pearl grays for elegant and timeless compositions.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.
