A neutral shade with ashy highlights, 3688 brings a powdery subtlety to delicate lace. This soft shade is suitable for fine, openwork works that require discretion and refinement. Combine with warmer shades to highlight the texture of the patterns, or with off-whites for a soft and timeless harmony.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.
