469 DMC offers a soft and balanced gray shade, neither too cold nor too warm. It harmonizes perfectly with fine, openwork lace, highlighting each point without overwhelming it. This functional shade pairs elegantly with off-white, ecru or deeper gray accents to create lace works of subtle proportions.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.
