The 601 offers a luminous gray, between stone and chalk, which preserves the transparency of the lace. On delicate works, it fades to let the finesse of the openwork patterns dominate. This warm shade pairs elegantly with similar colors like beige or cream, or creates a subtle contrast with deeper grays.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.
