This robust 100% wool thread can be worked on embroidery canvas, tapestry or petit point with a beautiful regularity of stitch. The duck green color 7956 captures the deep tones of nature: neither too blue nor too green, it soothes the eye while structuring a geometric or floral pattern.

The 8 meter skein is divided into two strands for fine lines, or can be worked in its entirety for dense, covering areas. Made in France, this wool has benefited from DMC know-how for several generations. It is woven with great flexibility: you will not encounter the rigidity of synthetics, but on the contrary a natural fluidity which facilitates passage under the canvas. At each point, the thread is placed without friction.

• Divide the wool into two strands for fine, precise details on densely counted canvases.
• Use the entire skein in thick areas to quickly fill large surfaces.
• Combine duck green 7956 with warm ochres or bluish grays for a subtle autumnal gradient.
• On a 13 stitches per inch canvas, each meter of wool covers approximately 15 to 20 squares of tapestry depending on the stitch density.
• Clean your finished work with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry it flat to preserve the shape.
