The 471 offers a neutral and soft shade, ideal for openwork lace where the finesse of the stitch takes precedence over the color. This pearl gray harmonizes subtly with warm tones like beige or ivory, for timeless lace. Also combine with natural linen shades or off-whites for a warmer look.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.
