Technical characteristics: This 8 meter skein in 100% wool is worked with a tapestry needle on embroidery canvas. The material, combed and regular, glides without lint and cuts cleanly. Made in France, it meets the requirements of the most demanding embroiderers. Its thickness allows surfaces to be covered quickly, ideal for classic tapestry stitches, petit point or mixed techniques.

• Thread a tapestry needle size 18 to 22 depending on the density of your canvas for fluid work without excessive tension.
• Use needles of 40 to 50 cm to prevent the fiber from fraying at the end of the work.
• Mix Ebony 7535 with pearl grays or beiges to create subtle gradients and natural shading effects.
• Work on 12 or 14 points per cm canvas for good readability of the pattern and optimal coverage.
• Clean your work once finished by light dry brushing: avoid washing with water which could risk felting the fiber.
