COTON PERLE 1 PEL 10G (XS)

A delicate, almost translucent pink, which whispers rather than screams. This powdery shade is suitable for fine embroidery work and delicate motifs: small floral motifs, initials on linen, children's embroidery. It goes wonderfully with pearl grays, soft beiges or creamy white for a look that is both romantic and refined.

Coton Perlé DMC n°12 is a thread 100% cotton , twisted and non-divisible: it is worked as is, without separating strands, unlike mouliné. Its double mercerization gives it a satin and shiny appearance which highlights each stitch, while its characteristic twist brings volume and three-dimensional relief to the embroidery. Packaged in a 10 g ball for approximately 120 meters of thread, it corresponds to the finest size in the DMC pearl cotton range, finer than No. 5 and No. 8, which allows precise stitching on fine canvas. Made in France, this thread is appreciated for its resistance and its ease of work: it glides through the fabric without fraying.
