A muted blue-green, 820 envelops lace in a soft and soothing shade. This calm shade, neither frankly blue nor decidedly green, is suitable for delicate works where we are looking for a presence without shine. It naturally combines with ecru, ash grays or other muted blues to create refined and harmonious creations.

This DMC lace thread is 100% long fiber cotton , combed then gassed to eliminate fibrils and obtain a perfectly smooth surface to the touch. It is then double mercerized , a process which gives it a silky shine and reinforces its resistance to wear during work. Its 6-strand structure gives it good tension hold, a valuable asset for fine and regular works. Sold in 5 g balls, or approximately 90 meters, it is colorfast and washable at 95°C , which guarantees the color holds even after several machine washes.

This navy blue color goes well with a fine steel hook type 0.75, bobbins and a lacemaker's tile, a fine embroidery needle or a tambour for hardanger embroidery. It also completes a collection of Coton Perlé or Mouliné DMC to combine techniques and materials on the same project.
