Assembling fine or thick fabrics, from cotton to silk, requires reliable and consistent thread. The DMC Tous Textiles 1022B sewing thread meets this requirement with its 100% polyester construction, guaranteeing constant tenacity and excellent resistance to repeated washing. Rose 4417 offers a soft and warm, slightly powdery shade, which goes well on neutral canvases as well as on colored backgrounds without imposing its presence.

This 120 meter thread can be worked with a machine needle or by hand. Its regular fineness avoids breakage and mess when passing through small stitches. The spool is designed to hold securely in standard winders, without slipping or unwinding prematurely.

Rose 4417 is suitable for touch-up projects as well as new assemblies. For flowing fabrics, use a needle half a number finer than usual so as not to mark the fabric. On thick fabrics — denim, wool, heavy cotton — a standard 80 needle offers a good balance between penetration and stitch regularity.

• Prefer short needles (30 to 40 cm) to limit fraying at the end of the thread.
• Check the tension before an important part: polyester thread supports intermediate tensions without breaking.
• Wash up to 40°C without fear: color fastness and tenacity remain stable.
• Combine Rose 4417 with neutral threads — off-white, light gray — for invisible touch-ups on delicate lingerie.
