A deep, vegetal green that captures the essence of the fern in the forest. This shade soothes the eye and lends itself to botanical embroidery, natural patterns or character works. It goes beautifully with off-white for a light composition, or combines with taupe gray for more sophistication. A color that exudes discreet nature.

The Broder Spécial DMC thread is made of 100% long-staple cotton , combed and mercerized twice, which gives it a beautiful luster and great softness to the touch. Unlike the mouliné, its 4 strands are not divisible : the thread is therefore used whole, which simplifies the preparation of the needle and guarantees a regular thickness from the first to the last stitch. Its colorfast dye ensures good resistance to repeated washing and light, an asset for household linen intended to be washed often. The range exists in several sizes, from No. 16 to No. 30, to adapt to more or less fine work.

• Embroider monograms and initials on household linens
• Make neat openings, festoons, stem stitches or thrown stitches
• Decorate towels, pillowcases, sheets or baby clothes
• Work with short needles, around 40 cm, to preserve the luster of the thread
• Combine several shades close to Fern Green to create a gradient on the same pattern

This thread goes naturally with linen or cotton canvases intended for household linens, fine embroidery needles and embroidery hoops. To complete a project, it can also be combined with DMC pearl cotton to create relief, or consulted via a DMC color chart in order to harmonize Fern Green with other shades in the collection.
