DMC Colbert 486 saffron 7920 tapestry wool offers a warm and bright shade, ideal for structuring your canvas and cross-stitch embroidery works. This 100% virgin wool thread can be worked on regular canvas or embroidery canvas, providing a natural depth and shine that only wool can give.

Technical characteristics: 100% pure worsted wool yarn, 8 meter skein, made in France. The material offers remarkable durability over time and is perfectly resistant to delicate washes. Its regular thickness is suitable for needles No. 18 to 20, both for small stitches and for solid colors.

The Safran 7920 color captures the warmth of a precious spice, oscillating between deep orange and brick red. On white or ecru canvas, it creates relief; on darker backgrounds, it radiates the work. This shade is intense enough to work alone, but pairs beautifully with blues, olive greens and grays for harmonious compositions.
