Work it alone or in gradient with other tones from the Colbert range.

100% French virgin wool guaranteeing exceptional quality and remarkable color fastness. The fiber lays evenly on the embroidery canvas, without lint or knots. This 8 meter skein covers a large surface area - allow approximately 12 to 15 squares of canvas depending on the pattern and your tension. Made in France, it bears excellent French textile know-how.

• Work in three strands or in single strands depending on your canvas: fewer strands for thin canvases (interlock), more strands for standard warp wefts.
• Piquabrodder or wallpaper: the soft wool is precisely controlled, ideal for careful finishes and gradients.
• Combine Clay 7543 with ochres, warmer grays or off-whites to create harmonious backgrounds that don't overwhelm your designs.
• Store this wool away from direct light and insects: its robustness depends on storage.
• Always test on a scrap of canvas: the thickness varies slightly depending on the number of strands used.
