Made of 100% wool , this 8 meter skein is easily worked with a canvas needle on pinched canvas or linen. Made in France , which guarantees stable dyeing quality and faithful shades over time. Its thickness makes it particularly suitable for fine tapestry work or cross-stitch embroidery on 11 or 14 thread count canvas.

• Thread the needle with a piece of waxed thread to prevent it from fraying during repeated passes through the same canvas.
• On a 10-strand canvas, use 2 or 3 strands of Colbert for an opaque finish in a single pass.
• Combine orange 7051 with warm tones — brick reds, golden yellows — to create gradients rich in relief.
• This wool accepts dry cleaning; avoid washing in hot water which could cause the fibers to felt.
• Pre-cut your needles at 40 centimeters to limit wear on the thread as it passes through the canvas.
