A deep purple, rich and enveloping, which soothes with its chromatic density. This noble shade is suitable for demanding creations: tapestry medallions, complex floral motifs, structured canvas backgrounds. Crimson violet pairs beautifully with warm ochres and neutral beiges, creating subtle and elegant contrasts. In visible repetitions or in weaving, it gives weight and presence to the work.

DMC Mat Twisted Cotton is a thread 100% long fiber cotton , which gives it good hold over time and a nice regularity of stitch. Made up of 5 inseparable strands , it can be worked as is, without having to separate the threads, which simplifies the preparation of the work. Its matte, supple and soft-to-the-touch appearance comes from combing and buckling which prevent the thread from linting, for a clean result even after numerous passes through the canvas. Each skein measures 10 m, a length designed to limit connections on small canvas surfaces.
