Pourpre 2309 offers a sumptuous depth, oscillating between violet and blood red, which enriches each point with gravity and mystery. This shade captivates the eye on medium mesh canvases as well as on fine canvases, where it is particularly magnified in association with shades of wine or on a background of ivory beige. It is suitable for classic tapestries, decorative covers and refined floral arrangements.

DMC Mat Twisted Cotton is a thread 100% long fiber cotton , which gives it good hold over time and a nice regularity of stitch. Made up of 5 inseparable strands , it can be worked as is, without having to separate the threads, which simplifies the preparation of the work. Its matte, supple and soft-to-the-touch appearance comes from combing and buckling which prevent the thread from linting, for a clean result even after numerous passes through the canvas. Each skein measures 10 m, a length designed to limit connections on small canvas surfaces.
