Violet wisteria displays a soft and deep shade, between mauve and discreet purple. This poetic nuance gives fine embroidery a timeless elegance, particularly on linen or ecru canvas. It combines magnificently with pale pinks, lavender grays or ecru for delicate and refined compositions. Ideal for chain stitches, stylized flowers and romantic monograms.

This pearl cotton is a 100% mercerized cotton thread, twisted and non-divisible : unlike mouliné, it is worked as is, without separating strands, which gives each stitch a clean and regular relief. Its No. 8 size is between No. 5, thicker, and No. 12, finer, an intermediate gauge which is suitable for both delicate patterns and more pronounced finishes. The 10 g ball rolls out continuously, without any connections to manage during work, which makes large areas as well as small repeats easier. Its satin finish catches the light and highlights the texture of the embroidery, while its manufacturing in France guarantees consistency of quality from one ball to another.

This 10 g pearl cotton goes well with linen or cotton embroidery canvases, as well as with ball point needles adapted to its caliber. To enrich the same work, it can be combined with Mouliné Special DMC thread in a shade close to the Glycine violet color, or completed with embroidery beads for a textured and contrasting finish.
