L'Huître reveals a neutral gray tinged with mother-of-pearl, a restrained shade that soothes the eyes. This shade soothes delicate projects — cross-stitch embroidery, fine trimmings, details on natural fabric. It goes beautifully with off-whites or linen beiges, and creates a remarkable play of materials when mixed with pearl gray.

Coton Perlé DMC n°12 is a thread 100% cotton , twisted and non-divisible: it is worked as is, without separating strands, unlike mouliné. Its double mercerization gives it a satin and shiny appearance which highlights each stitch, while its characteristic twist brings volume and three-dimensional relief to the embroidery. Packaged in a 10 g ball for approximately 120 meters of thread, it corresponds to the finest size in the DMC pearl cotton range, finer than No. 5 and No. 8, which allows precise stitching on fine canvas. Made in France, this thread is appreciated for its resistance and its ease of work: it glides through the fabric without fraying.
