COTON PERLE 1 PEL 10G (XS)

A shade of dry savannah, between khaki and taupe. This warm gray-brown exudes naturalness and sobriety. It adorns cross stitches on linen with discretion, enriching the gradients or structuring a pattern. Pair with earthy tones (chocolate, olive) for an earthy harmony, or with off-white for more relief.

Coton Perlé DMC n°12 is a thread 100% cotton , twisted and non-divisible: it is worked as is, without separating strands, unlike mouliné. Its double mercerization gives it a satin and shiny appearance which highlights each stitch, while its characteristic twist brings volume and three-dimensional relief to the embroidery. Packaged in a 10 g ball for approximately 120 meters of thread, it corresponds to the finest size in the DMC pearl cotton range, finer than No. 5 and No. 8, which allows precise stitching on fine canvas. Made in France, this thread is appreciated for its resistance and its ease of work: it glides through the fabric without fraying.
