Bruyère wears a subtle purple-gray, tinged with discreet purple. This soothing shade is suitable for delicate projects: floral embroidery, cross stitching on Aida canvas, or needle painting on linen. It goes particularly well with ivory, pearl gray or very pale pink shades for nuanced and sophisticated compositions.

Coton Perlé DMC n°12 is a 100% cotton thread , twisted and non-divisible: it is worked as is, without separating strands, unlike mouliné. Its double mercerization gives it a satin and shiny appearance which highlights each stitch, while its characteristic twist brings volume and three-dimensional relief to the embroidery. Packaged in a 10 g ball for approximately 120 meters of thread, it corresponds to the finest size in the DMC pearl cotton range, finer than No. 5 and No. 8, which allows precise stitching on fine canvas. Made in France, this thread is appreciated for its resistance and its ease of work: it glides through the fabric without fraying.
