COTON PERLE 1 PEL 10G (XS)

A soft lilac that exudes softness and elegance. This light purple is particularly suitable for fine embroidery and delicate works where subtlety is paramount. On unbleached linen or pale fabrics, it creates a vaporous harmony. Combine with deeper lavender shades for more contrast, or with off-whites to preserve its discreet and refined character.

Coton Perlé DMC n°12 is a thread 100% cotton , twisted and non-divisible: it is worked as is, without separating strands, unlike mouliné. Its double mercerization gives it a satin and shiny appearance which highlights each stitch, while its characteristic twist brings volume and three-dimensional relief to the embroidery. Packaged in a 10 g ball for approximately 120 meters of thread, it corresponds to the finest size in the DMC pearl cotton range, finer than No. 5 and No. 8, which allows precise stitching on fine canvas. Made in France, this thread is appreciated for its resistance and its ease of work: it glides through the fabric without fraying.
