This DMC Metallic Pearl Cotton offers an orange shade 5852 which changes with each stitch. The 25 m skein in 100% cotton can be worked without separation of strands, unlike Mouliné Spécial, and offers a shiny and regular texture ideal for all styles of classic embroidery.

A 100% cotton fiber produced in France, Metallic Pearl Cotton has a characteristic pearl appearance which shimmers slightly under the light. Orange 5852 deploys warm and luminous shades, perfect for botanical motifs, clothing details or decorative pieces. The 25 m skein generously covers a medium-sized project without requiring several balls for the same project.

• Thread directly without separating the strands: save time when embroidering with cross stitch or chain stitch.
• Combine Orange 5852 with earth tones — beige, chocolate, ocher — to create natural and subtle gradients.
• Work on linen or Aida: the pearl slides easily and creates a visible relief even with a single thickness.
• Test it with fine crochet for openwork borders or detached flowers: the shine comes out beautifully on white or cream.
• Clean gently with warm soapy water and dry flat to preserve the pearly appearance of the cotton.
