Assembling pieces of cotton or linen requires a reliable thread that does not form knots and slides smoothly under the needle. The DMC Tubino 623B sewing thread in yellow 2554 offers exactly that: a 100 meter spool of 100% cotton thread, made in France, which can be worked by machine or by hand.

This thread is 100% cotton , which gives it excellent regularity and remarkable resistance to wear. Its fineness allows it to sew without cracking on delicate fabrics, while its twist ensures that it does not fray when the needle passes. The yellow color 2554 is a warm golden yellow which is suitable for light textiles as well as ecru or beige fabrics. On white cottons, it blends without clashing; on ivory linen, it adds warmth to visible seams.

• Thread the needle with a length of approximately 45 cm to prevent the thread from fraying at the end of its journey.
• On very fine fabric, reduce the machine tension by one notch so that the thread does not pull the warp.
• For delicate seams, tie a double knot at the start and finish with three stitches in the same place.
• This thread can be ironed with an iron without fear: the cotton tolerates heat well and returns to its original shape.
