Tarragon Green offers the herbaceous hue of an aromatic herb grown in the sun: lively and herbaceous, neither too yellow nor too bluish. This bold green is intended for embroidery that requires presence, subtle foliage and delicate backgrounds. Combined with grays or straw yellows, it creates a spring harmony; in the background of floral embroidery, it highlights pastel flowers or golden hues.

Retors d'Alsace is a 100% cotton thread composed of two twisted strands, renowned for its satin shine and resistance. Made from long-staple Egyptian cotton and double mercerized, it does not twist or form knots during work, making needlework much easier. Presented in a large 25 g skein, this generous packaging is particularly suitable for work that requires a lot of material, such as Hardanger embroidery.

How to use

• Embroider in Hardanger, Reticello or Antique stitch for a traditional and textured look
• Create monograms and openwork embroidery thanks to the finesse and shine of the thread
• Cut needles of approximately 40 cm to preserve the fiber and prevent it from fraying
• Work with stem stitch or cross stitch for a marked relief effect
• Combine several sizes of Tarragon Green on the same work to play on the volumes

This thread blends naturally with linen, Aida or Zweigart fabrics used in traditional embroidery, as well as with fine-point needles and embroidery hoops to keep the fabric taut during work.
