COTON PERLE RETORS D'ALSACE 25G N°12 1 ECH

A bright and warm yellow, that of the mimosa in bloom. This sunny shade brings clarity to fine embroidery and delicate work. It flourishes in stem stitch, cross stitch or satin stitch. Combine it with off-whites for a soft harmony, or with soft greens for a poetic floral pattern.

Coton Perlé DMC Retors d'Alsace n°12 is a 100% cotton thread composed of two twisted strands, obtained from long-fiber Egyptian cotton and double mercerization which gives it a durable satin shine and appreciable resistance over time. Its large skein of 25 g (approximately 300 m) allows you to embroider long surfaces without interruption or thread splicing, a valuable asset for Hardanger embroidery and large projects. Made in France and Oeko-Tex certified, it slides easily through the fabric without knotting or twisting, and can be washed at up to 95° for easy daily care.

Instructions for use

• Cut needles of 40 cm maximum to preserve the fiber of the thread
• Use this thread for Hardanger embroidery, openwork or white embroidery
• Work it in stem stitch or cross stitch for a marked relief effect
• Mix sizes 5, 8 and 12 on the same work to create contrast
• Reserve Mimosa Yellow for monograms and finishes that require precision and shine

This thread pairs naturally with Aida canvas or embroidery linen, a rounded-point embroidery needle and a tambour to keep the fabric taut while working.
