Elastic lace flowers 33mm white per meter

The elastic flower lace by the meter is available in 3 different flower patterns. But also in 3 different widths: 25mm, 33mm and 60mm. The 25mm size is available in 8 colors. The 33m is available in 12 colors and the 60mm width in 8 colors.

How to properly prepare the sewing of elastic lace?

Firstly, we advise you to wash it by hand with a mild shampoo or mild detergent. It will be necessary to rinse it well and then place it in a towel to dry it gently. It's not about twisting it. Then let it dry flat. You can then iron it flat if you wish but with an iron at low temperature. We advise you to use a pattemouille or another cotton fabric between the iron and the lace.

How to sew elastic flower lace?

The elastic lace MyMercerie  being very fine, a 60-70 needle will be more than sufficient to sew it. Concerning the thread, either you can use your polyester thread or a finer thread such as embroidery thread suitable for this type of support. As it is elastic lace, you can sew with a zigzag stitch or a straight stitch with a length of approximately 2mm.
